We are delighted that the hard work of the Green School Committee has paid dividends in the form of a second Green Flag for our school. The committee, comprising of teachers, parents, pupils, Ballinode and Scotstown Tidy Town members, are to be commended on all their hard work. Thanks also to Nial O'Connor, Monaghan County Council.
Also 6th Class submitted their year's work on Europe for the Blue Star Project and were awarded a "Europe Flag" as a result. Both flags were raised on the morning of Tuesday 16th June at 12.15pm just after the End of Year Mass.
