As part of the Government's 2016 Commemoration of 1916 Easter Rising, each school in Ireland is being presented with an Irish Tricolour. Our school was visited by two representatives from the Defence forces on Thursday, 22nd October 2015. The pupils had an opportunity to ask questions and sang Amhrán na bhFiann. Laura from 6th class read part of the Proclamation. Jessica was thrilled to be photographed with her dad in uniform.
