3rd Green Schools Flag for Urbleshanny NS
The Green Schools Ceremony took place on Thursday, 25th May in the City North Hotel, Gormanston, Co Meath. Four members of the Green Schools Committee attended on behalf of the school: Ms Kildea (staff member), Mary McGloin (parent), Rachel from 6th Class and Áine from 1st Class.
They travelled to the ceremony along with other schools from Monaghan who were also collecting their flags. The bus was organised by Monaghan County Council. Nial O'Connor from the Environment Section of Monaghan Co Co was also in attendance. After the ceremony lunch was provided. Everyone had a great day and we are all looking forward to the flagraising ceremony which will take place before the summer holidays.
