Sixth Class pupils gathered excitedly in the main hall at breaktime this morning to welcome some special visitors to the school. Grandparents' Day is always a very memorable occasion for our Sixth Class boys and girls. 

Grandparents' Day celebrates the special bond between a child and their older relatives. This was honoured today in our school hall with drama, poetry, music and song. During the ceremony we also remembered grandparents who are sick, who could not travel and those who are no longer with us.

Many thanks to Mr. Beggan and An tUasal Mac Giolla Bhríde for the work and effort that went into preparing for today's special prayer service. Thanks also to Fr. Early for joining us and giving of his time so freely.
