Urbleshanny National School

The county final of the Cumann na mBunscol primary quiz took place in the Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan on February 28th. 24 quiz teams from schools in north and south Monaghan participated.

Urbleshanny NS was represented by two teams on the evening. The questions covered Irish geography and history, general knowledge and current affairs.

Both teams performed brilliantly with Team B (Aoife, Ben, Adam and Donnchadh) finishing in joint fifth, scoring 53. Team A finished in second place with a final score of 57/60. Team A (Catherine, Dáithí-Óg, Ultan and Cayla) will now progress to the Ulster final later in March. Comhghairdeas leo!
