Mick Duffy Cup Visits Urbleshanny NS June 2017
The Mick Duffy Cup was brought to the school on Friday, June 8th by two of the present Scotstown GFC senior players. Former past pupil, Ross McKenna and Damien McArdle visited and brought the cup along with them. The Mick Duffy Cup is presented to the county football champions each year and is named after GAA Director General Paraic Duffy's father who was a long-serving chairman of the Monaghan County Board. The pupils enjoyed talking to the players and seeing the cup at closehand.
