International Games Day Part 1.
On Wednesday 6th April 2022, our pupils and staff arrived bedecked in all manner of blue and yellow clothing to show our solidarity with the people of Ukraine. The weather held up while all the classes paraded around one of our larger playgrounds. We tried to recreate the Ukrainian Flag by holding blue and yellow cards above our heads and took many photos via drone. However, the results were very disappointing on that front. The members of Comhairle Na Scoile raised the Flag of Ukraine and there was certainly a strong wind to fly it aloft. Here is a selection of photos to give a flavour of some of the day's events.
