First Holy Communion 2025
42 pupils from Urbleshanny N.S. made their First Holy Communion in St. Mary’s Church, Urbleshanny on Saturday 17th May 2025.
A very meaningful ceremony was celebrated by Fr. Early. The pupils played an active role in the liturgy by singing, dancing, reading prayers and bringing up the gifts. Their efforts in preparing for the day were also evident in the beautiful artwork that decorated the church.
Thank you to Mrs Mc Nulty and Mrs Sherry for the time and care that was spent preparing the children for the occasion. Thank you to Fr. Early for a lovely ceremony. Thank you also to the pupils and adults who provided the wonderful singing and music that added so much to the celebration.
We hope the pupils and their families had a special and memorable weekend.
