First Holy Communion 2024
The sun shone on the 40 pupils who made their First Holy Communion in St. Mary's Church, Urbleshanny on May 11th 2024.
The Communicants looked resplendent in their outfits as they milled around and soaked up the sun before the ceremony began. Fr. Early was joined by Fr. Deery, godfather to one of our pupils.
Boys and girls took part in the litrugy by singing, dancing, bringing up the gifts and offering prayers of the faithful. We hope that families have a special and memorable weekend. Thank you to Mrs. Donaghy and Ms. Fitzpatrick for the time and effort that was spent preparing the children for today. Thank you to Fr. Early and Fr. Deery for a lovely ceremony.
