First Communion 2023
First Communion took place in Urbleshanny Chapel this morning on the 20th of May. It was a lovely ceremony which was celebrated by Fr. Brian Early.
The pupils receiving the sacrament took part in the readings, opening hymn dance, singing the psalm and gospel acclamation, acting out the gospel story, offertory procession, bidding prayers and actions for Ár nAthair.
Many thanks to the Ms. Lynch, Ms. Fitzpatrick, Jackie, our choir pupils and to the Parents Association who provided treats for them and to the parents who provided tea and refreshments in the GAA Sports Complex afterwards.
