Urbleshanny National School

Cumann na mBunscol organised the Allianz Girls' Football League County Finals Day at the Castleblayney Faughs Grounds this afternoon on the 30th of May. The Urbleshanny NS team played against Carrickmacross GNS in Roinn 1 and successfully won the game. The last time Urbleshanny NS won was in 2004 and Miss Daly played on that winning team. Today she was there, along with other staff members, to support the girls.

Thank you to Mrs McNulty, Mr McKenna and Brian McGinnity for all their hard work in coaching the team and to all the supporters who travelled to Castleblayney this afternoon to cheer on the girls. A big thank you also to County Chairman, Michael Owen McMahon and his brother JP who kindly invited everyone back to Centra Scotstown for icecream.
