Urbleshanny National School

Urbleshanny's Class of 2025 received the sacrament of Confirmation on a glorious summer's day in St. Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan. 39 pupils from our school received the sacrament in the company of their family, friends and wider parish community. 

Monsignor Shane Mc Caughey was the chief celebrant on the day, ably assisted by Fr. Joyce. The absence of our school chaplain and close friend of the school, Fr. Early, was acknowledged on account of the death of his beloved brother, Kieran. 

The service was enhanced by music from the parish choir and the instrumental talents of some of our 6th class pupils.

Much hard work and preparation was afforded to the ceremony. Many thanks to Monsignor Mc Caughey, Fr. Joyce, Fr. Early, Mr. Beggan, Mrs. Trappe, Ms. Deery, Nicola Cusack, Sonia Hackett and members of the parish choir.

We wish Rang a Sé the very best as they venture through life following the path that God has set for them.
