Concern Debating 2022
We have a strong and illustrious tradition of debating in Urbleshanny NS. The 2022/2023 year was no different.
This year, the Concern Debating competition took place over Zoom. Our team adapted brilliantly to the online format and should be proud of their performances.
The team participated in two debates. They were unlucky to lose to St. Patrick's NS, Shercock on their first outing. Unfortunately, in their final debate, the pupils were narrowly beaten by a strong team from St. Mary's NS, Arvagh.
Thank you to Monaghan Education Centre for organising the competition and to Mrs. Little and Mr. Beggan for preparing the pupils. Well done to Catherine, Emma, Sophie, Molly, Pauric and Scott on their excellent performances.
