6th Class visit to Abbott Nutrition, Cootehill
6th class visited Abbott Nutrition, Cootehill, Co Cavan on the 9th of May with Mrs Little and Mrs Smyth. Josephine Connolly visited the 6th class pupils as part of the Junior Acheivement Programme prior to their visit to Abbott. The award-winning nutrition facility is located in Cootehill on the Cavan-Monaghan border. This facility manufactures infant nutritional products for the exports market. The infant formulae is blended, pasteurised, dried and packaged at the Cootehill site and distibuted to Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Canada. 6th class enjoyed their trip to Abbott and were suitably attired to experience the facility which strictly adheres to a controlled environment.
